Introduction
The International Academy of Innovation Sciences (IAIS) was established in 1999 and is a global scientific organization and research institution. With the core concept of “Innovation for the Future, Science for the Humanity”, it is committed to building a global innovation science community. By integrating natural sciences, engineering sciences, social sciences and industrial resources, it promotes innovative solutions to global issues. IAIS members include Nobel laureates, world-class scientists, top engineering experts, humanistic scientists, economists and leaders of multinational industries. Currently, it has over 80 council units, including the Innovation Academy of International Eurasian Academy of Sciences(IAIEAS). As an innovation science community, in today’s era of technological explosion and challenges, IAIS will continue to play the role of an “innovation bridge”, illuminating a sustainable future with the light of science.
Core Mission
Build an integrated innovation ecosystem of “science-technology-society” to facilitate seamless connection between scientific research and industrial transformation, promote the coordinated development of developed and developing countries, and provide scientific capacity-building support for developing countries.
Integrate natural science, engineering science, social science and industrial practice to promote global scientific and technological innovation and cooperation, and address major challenges facing humanity (such as climate change, energy transition, digital ethics, etc.).
Build an interdisciplinary and cross-border innovation ecosystem to promote the coordinated development of basic research, technology transformation and policy consultation.
Uphold international scientific and technological ethics standards, promote the benefits of science and technology for humanity, and support the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Founding Background
Since the 21st century, the complexity of global issues has intensified, and the barriers of traditional disciplines have become more prominent. Complex problems such as climate change, energy crises, and public health urgently require cross-border and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The establishment of IAIS responds to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and provides an institutional framework for scientists and industry leaders to collaborate and innovate.
The Academician System
The Lifetime Honorary System:
The Lifetime Honorary System of the International Academy of Innovation Sciences is based on the core criteria of innovative demonstration and breakthrough contributions. The academician members cover three major fields: natural sciences, engineering and technology, and social sciences. Candidates must be nominated by global peers and undergo multiple rounds of strict reviews to ensure the authority and international credibility of their academic achievements.
Subject Distribution:
Natural and Engineering Sciences (60%): Focusing on cutting-edge fields such as quantum technology and bioengineering;
Social Sciences and Industry Leadership (40%): Covering areas like innovation policy and the digital economy.
Research Platform
The International Academy of Innovation, in collaboration with over 30 research institutions worldwide, has initiated the establishment of the “Global Innovation Laboratory”, focusing on cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence and green technology. Through cross-border and cross-disciplinary collaboration, it aims to promote the parallel development of technology research and ethical governance. The laboratory integrates global academician resources, builds an open and shared innovation platform, accelerates the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, serves the global sustainable development goals, and contributes to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Global Actions
The Lighthouse Initiative for Science Popularization and Inclusion
In key regions around the world, renowned global scientists lead technology transfer training. We share the common progress of humanity brought about by science.
Future Leaders Lab
Each year, it selects 50 young scientists and industry leaders for interdisciplinary immersive training. It aims to cultivate a new generation of decision-makers with both scientific literacy and strategic vision.
AI Innovation Governance Declaration
Adhering to the principle of people-oriented and intelligent for good, we advocate the establishment of a global AI governance system that is safe, reliable, fair and transparent. Through cross-disciplinary collaboration, we promote the development of technology for good, ensuring that the fruits of innovation benefit all humanity and building a new pattern of open and inclusive international cooperation.
